Meraloma Bike Season Kick Off and Social April 2 - First Saturday Club Ride April 23 - Bicycle Orienteering May 4 - First Coached ride Continued weekly until the end of August. BBQ and social gathering at Meraloma Clubhouse as a reward follows the ride. For 2022, we used a combination of coach led and group co-ordinated training rides. May 21 - Ride / Water Taxi / Ride This was the second time Meraloma hosted this event. Ride to Deep Cove or Belcarra (depending on your group), Travel by water taxi to the other side and ride ride back to the clubhouse. June 4 - Valley Fondo Explore the byways of Langley and Abbotsford. June 11 - Cypress Hill Climb (Rotary Race for Rescue) Ride started at 9am at Mulgrave School on Cypress Road, Money raised for North Shore Rescue June 26 - Intercycling Club Social Meet fellow Lower Mainland riders. Enjoy Meraloma patio, bar and Red Truck food truck July 1 - Canada Day Populaire (BC Randonneurs) 155 km long route to celebrate Canada’s birthday. The mixed terrain route and mostly quiet roads through Fort Langley, Sumas Prairie, Sumas Mountain, and Aldergrove . July 9-10 - Okanagan Fondo Weekend Arrange your own accommodation. Club co-ordinated ride groups and meet up for meals before/after the event. July 16 - Sunshine Coast Ride Meet at Club House or HSB, ferry to Gibsons, ride to Davis Bay or Sechelt, relaxing lunch, Persephone Brewing catch late afternoon ferry back to HSB July 30 - Aug 1 - Mount Baker Weekend AND Aug 1: West Point Cycles hosted BC Day supported century ride Ride went through Langley & Abbotsford, with a Yarrow option Sun Aug 7 - Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge Starts at 8:30 am till 11:00 am at Mulgrave School, 2330 Cypress Bowl Ln, West Vancouver Sun Aug 13 - Seymour Hill Climb (Escape Velocity) August 20 - Tour De Victoria 60km-160km of challenging, scenic riding. August 27 - Meraloma Triple Crown A semi-supported Triple Crown event for Meraloma club members! Event supported by Balance Physiotherapy at the top of Cypress. Short complimentary massages given to those in need at the top of Cypress Click here to learn more about Balance Physiotherapy Sun Aug 28th - Tri City Cycling Club social ride Members of Tri-City Cycling (TCC) took groups with similar abilities, on a choice of three routes (100 km, 82 km, and 72 km routes. Started & finished at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.
